LVRSNFRNDS Courrier #10
All things modern relationships, curated by the folks behind LVRSNFRNDS.
Consensual greetings from Amsterdam! Welcome to LVRNSFRNDS Courrier, a newsletter featuring must-read content for your modern brain. I try to make this one of the best newsletters you get so please send feedback!
đĄ Interesting stuff
Thought you'd like to read these, I did.
Cancel culture - What if Instead of Calling People Out, We Called Them In? - Prof. Loretta J. Ross is combating cancel culture with a popular class at Smith College. Ultra relevant to our current work to provide our members with resources.
Censorship - This Is Not Allowed - This website showcases content banned from social media to celebrate sex positivity, enable social activism, recognise legitimate adult businesses, and reclassifies LGBTQ+ content as regular content. We like!
Life - How To Have An Open Relationship - Disclaimer: there is no such thing as a magical one size fits all recipe! Sex advice columnists, Rich Juzwiak and Stoya, help Abe figure out whether an open relationship is right for him.

đč Antecedently
Previously at LVRSNFRNDS.
We had a glorious đ Campfire in the presence of non members! That was a first in our history and I must say: we have to do this again!
Weâve launched a new website!! Check it out and let me know what you think. I would love to read your feedback. Feel free to correct me. Always happy to do better.
We gathered for an emotional and intimate đ€ Salon to help Cheyenne who called us to discuss how she feels disconnected from sex. Side note: I can witness how we, humans, are going through a lot of sh*t right now. Itâs OK not to feel OK, to have ups and downs. I know that I can speak for the whole community saying: âYou are not alone.â
Last but not least, we hosted the most thought-provoking đ 90 Minutes Q&A with A.V. Flox, author of Disrupting The Bystander When #MeToo Happens Among Friends. A.V. shared valuable advice, key concepts behind her thinking and it was also the opportunity to talk about community accountability and the importance of friendship.
đœ CinĂ©ma cinĂ©ma
Because thatâll make a great convo starter.
One thing leading to another, Salonâs topic had us think about Swallow (2019) directed by Carlo Mirabella-Davis. Highly recommended by the team!
A pregnant housewife, Hunter appears to have it all. However, as the pressure to meet her controlling in-laws and Ken-doll husbandâs rigid expectations mounts, cracks begin to appear in her carefully created facade. Hunter develops a dangerous eating habit, and a dark secret from her past seeps out.

đŁÂ Coming soon
Just in case youâre considering joining us!
Aine called a đ€ Salon on Monday to ask âwhat on earth is compersion in non monogamyâ and I bet we wonât be discussing the Merriam-Webster definition or the etymology of the term.
đ€Ż Mind-blown
I canât stop thinking about this...
WTF -Â Did you know about the existence of this dating site catering for people with under average size penises? Well I just read about it and past giving it a peculiar look, this makes me wonder about the small penis experience. I wish for LVRSNFRNDS that we can discuss it one day, that would be a milestone in our journey as a judgement-free zone where one can be vulnerable.
